At 18 I murdered a 76 RR similar to this... I really loved that little car. As far as my memories are concerned, it handled MUCH better than the 6 cylinder ones I owned later. The stock 360/Holley 2bbl was very nice at that time for both power and mileage. Mine had a low gear and wasn't much fun on the interstates, but did wonders at red lights. Silver, bottom stripes only, black console interior w/automatic and sunroof... and A/C... unlikely I will ever own another. It would have a lot to live up to.

18 was a tough year for me... I killed 3 cars searching for my limits (found them), I haven't killed one since. These days I'm busy enough trying to avoid the "special ones" on the roads.

Damn Stan, and here I was hoping we could go back to 1970, You could order a brand new Sport Fury GT 440 6BBL. 4 speed, and I could order a Charger R/T 440 6BBL. 4 speed, black, with tan interior, tan vinyl top, and sunroof. There goes that plan.

Do it Stan! You won't regret it. Out of all the 4 speed's I have the 76 Aspen RT 4 speed I had was the most fun to tool around in. The F bodies were always underrated and underappreciated. Never figured out why. They look great dressed up. 360 4bbl would scream in that car. Typical mopar, prone to rust though! Let us know if you pull the trigger.
