If money were NO object...

Here in Aberdeen they have huge (I mean huge) distribution centers everywhere.

This place is 242,000 square feet. I think I could squeeze my dream fleet in one of these and remodel with a ton of neon, garage and drive-in themed additions. Of course I would have to have a "Combat Bob's Bar and Grill" inside the facility complete with stripper poles and strippers for my FCBO friends when they visit. LOL! It comes through unmuted btw .. unless you have your own personal speakers already muted before you click it :)

This was the first car that I bought, off of a Chrysler Dealer's used car lot in Birmingham, Michigan in 1972. I drove it everywhere when I worked for Chrysler in Michigan except in the Winter, when I drove my "salt car" - a 1965 Plymouth Fury with a 383 in it (the Plymouth was bullet proof). I drove the car shown above from coast to coast several times when I went to visit my parents still in California and when I returned to California myself to work for Chrysler there, I drove it daily to and from work. I finally stopped driving it daily though, when at 205K miles, a piston ring cracked, necessitating an engine rebuild. A friend of mine helped me with that project. I also had it painted and did some other mechanical work on it. When I completed the refresh on the car, I took it again to and from work (at another job after Chrysler's circa 1980 bankruptcy when they closed our facility), but after the first week of doing this, someone keyed the side of the car in the parking lot when I was not there - I can only guess they were jealous or something of how nice it looked, but it really bothered me that someone would do this, and I ended up making it a garage queen since then, only driving it occasionally. Now that I am retired though, I want to start driving it more often. It is still my favorite car of all time, and I have some other nice cars too, including a 1960 Chrysler 300F, which comes in second on the list. I even let some of my friends borrow this tan beast just to let them see how fine a C body can be, and one of them drove it to Colorado and came back exclaiming that his mind was forever changed about big Chryslers. He even said he was surprised the car got 17 mpg on the highway at 70 mph (but much worse around town!). I will never sell it.

Back to the subject line (a rarity, I know) I've always wanted a general lee with a hardcore prerunner chassis under it... a general lee built to fly, if you will. But then I'd have to build one of roscoe's cruisers the same way... I could win 100 million and still never build and own everything in my head lol

Although I liked the show, I absolutely cringe when I think about how many Dodge Chargers were sacrificed.
