Imperial out of hibernation and some cool barn finds

Either one of ypur Imp's would look neat at a show next to my '78 NY'r St Regis Coupe. I did drive it to Iola this year but as a spectator.

I have four new tires in the basement for the NY'r for 2017 in the same white wall size.

Is that the "correct" size, or your preference? I will eventually need to put tires on one, I have been giving it a bit of thought... totally undecided, so the decision hasn't been made.

BTW, every time I see that beauty, I start to like the St Regis just a little bit more:thumbsup:

My New Yorker never had them during my time. It appears the previous owner put a NOS drivers door mirror and could not find the vinyl mirror graphic. I'm surprised no one has made them yet that I have found.

That should be pretty easy to get cut for you by any sign shop or even those silly places in the mall (IDK, haven't been in the mall in almost a decade).

We've been going to Iola with the green Imperial for the last 3 years. We usually stay for the whole weekend too. So you must have seen it there then right? Also, the car corral at Iola is where I purchased the gray Imperial from. Wish I would've known your New Yorker was there. I would've loved to have gotten an in-person look at it and possibly have gotten together with a fellow formal owner! Out of the hundreds of cars at Iola, there's typically only 3 or 4 C's that show up including mine.

Pictures are from Iola 2015. I was in the "Old cars young drivers" section (cars that are 25 years or older whos owner is 25 years old or younger)

And for anyone who didn't already know... I discovered I'm an idiot... I grabbed a wrong year lebaron ornament as a spare... I'm good with it(ok with being an idiot too I suppose)... I didn't invest much and the NYB needs something there... I like the idea of watching the bird as I drive.

Your Imp's would look great on the C-Body line at Carlisle in July 2017. I hope you can get there with at least one of them.

used to be a lot of C bodies around in Q5. If there is anything to Stans theory of green being the anti rust then Q5 seemed to be a pro rust color
