Intake Manifold Heigth

Are we talking about an M1 Dual Plane or an M1 Single plane? I'm assuming Dual Plane, but the height specs would be different for each, I would think.

I don't know if this will be any help at all, but here is a pic of my M1 Dual Plane for a 383 (not a 440). I don't have access to a Performer to compare, but I can't see this one being much higher.

The M1 dual plane is pretty much a copy of the last generation of stock cast iron intakes and do not flow bad at all, definatly better than the 67 intake he has on there stock.

I'm going to say say no way it fits. I have a Performer RPM on a low deck, the dual snorkel isn't even close to clearing. Had to find a VERY drop base air cleaner, I think close to 2".

M1 Single Plane. Im going to run it with a set of big valve iron heads from Indy and an old school .557 lift Mopar Perf. cam. backed by an 833 4 speed. I have acquired all the above parts.

If you have it run it. That's the cam I'm running in my 69 Barracuda, with any luck I will have to short shift it to stay above 11.49, no bar.
