Not to worry, it's all reversible. That grille was a scratch and dent special from a parts car. I have all the originals safely tucked away.

When the sun is on it it brings out the grey and when it's cloudy it's more blue-ish. It's hard to get a good shot with the camera. It always looks different in real life.

I had a 72 Charger SE in that color. Its not very common. I agree, it gives a classy look.
Had a 72 Monaco in the same color as the Polara in the gas station pic.

It's been a minute so I figured I'd give a little update. Had some time yesterday and got rid of the disaster intake set up I was running and put in the Edelbrock 7176 I've had laying around for 15 years. I must say it's made a night and day difference in performance. Even the brakes feel firmer with this set up. Waiting on my papers so I can put the vintage plate that my grandfather had on his 70 fury a loooonnnggg time ago.

yeah the wiring is a mess, but that will be getting cleaned up soon

Make that two GA8 Dodge Polara. One is a 4dr. The second, which I found while looking for something else, is a Polara Custom that was in BC (Canada) as recently as October 16, 2016:



She was built for Canada (note the B VON).The same car (DL23L1D264???, perhaps DL23L1D264802 ) was for sale in British Columbia back in 2014. Perhaps @marko knows the car's current whereabouts?

The car was for sale last year on Craigslist. It was a pretty nice survivor. It sold quickly and I haven't seen it around since.
