I've owned two Plymouth Furys so far, A 68 Fury II, which I sold off, and a 71 Sport Fury, Which I'm currently working on restoring.

I'm always trying to find those little oddball C-body parts that never seem to turn up.

Oh, Didn't know that would make a thread, anyway Hey there!
Saw this forum and thought I'd make an Account to see if I could learn anything new about my car.
Like I said, I've currently got an old beat up 71 sport fury, I bought it over the summer for around 2 grand and I've been restoring it ever since.

It's got the LA 360 engine, and those awesome hideaway headlights. Can't believe those things still work after decades of neglect. This is what it looked like before I got ahold of it.

This is what it looks like more recently.

It's more or less complete and drives pretty darn well. I got it up and running pretty quickly, just needed a new fuel system and some fiddling with the drive shaft.

Where in Wisconsin are you? I'm originally from Milwaukee.

I'm from and currently residing in La Crosse, pretty tough to be a car enthusiast in WI right?

A lot of Mopar's in Wisconsin...you'll be OK. LOL!

Have you ever heard of the Chrysler's at Carlisle show in Pennsylvania?

Best Mopar show in the world. A lot of us from this site will be there. The show is featuring C-Bodies. So it will be a once in a lifetime event for C-Bodies being the featured cars.

Carlisle Chrysler Nationals - Collector Car Show and Swap Meet, Everything Mopar, Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, AMC, Jeep, and RAM

Thanks guys! Is this a pretty active forum?
Yeah I hope it turns out well, I managed to get ahold of some rear quarter panels, which the Fury desperately needs if you can't tell from the pictures. I'll post the results but it won't be for a few months yet.

Yes. Very.

Hello from across the river! I see it had all the info on the windshield needed to make an informed purchase! It's good to see a working project, I'm glad you're using it while fixing it up.

Carlisle is the big show to go to, but you should attend Mopars in the Park up in Farmington Mn to get in on the biggest local show. Don't worry about the condition of your car, put it in the show!

I might go to Mopars in the Park. It all depends on when my fishing trip to Green Bay will be this year.

Wow, thats really tempting... I guess I'll have to see how well the Fury is handling come July. It would be a shame to miss that.

I see that, usually these old car forums are pretty slow. It's nice to be somewhere where people will actually tolerate and understand car talk lol

When is that? That could be very doable for me if school doesn't get in the way.

It's a good show. Last year the weather was perfect. Gonna bring your nieces? I think I could deal with some Packer talk...
