Is the Dodge brand on the verge of extinction?

Bryan, I don't like it either!

Plymouth was killed off quite quickly once those rumors rose up.

Does not apply to C-bodies though.

I just read that article....Dart's are selling better than Challenger's?

They sold better in the old days, no wonder to me. Cheaper = more sales at least as a rule of thumb.

I don't see how.......

Is anyone really surprised at this? Just like when Daimler Benz bought them, I expect Fiat will take what they want, in this case, a dealer network, and gut the rest.

I'm not surprised at all. I've seen what Sears did to Western Auto in the 90's.

The grocery getters are the ones that make the buisiness, dedicated car guys have always been a minority. More little old ladies alone that probably outnumber them.

I lost understanding for car design about 30 years ago anyways.

The Challenger is expensive compared to the Dart and fuel economy for the Challenger is not real good. People like the new Dart, well the youngens do. Us old heads would much rather have a Challenger.

My 2010 R/T was $39,975.00 sticker. They make it impossible for most people to afford, I struggle with mine, so the kids eat every other day

My nephew and his friends like the "new" Darts and think the 1969 Darts look cool but prehistoric. They would rather have the new one.

I read that too but they are still selling like gangbusters.
