Is there a special washer or ring for high pressure steering hose connection?

Been on a journey of redoing basically everything. Just rebuilt my steering pump and gear box and pittman arm. My high pressure hose is a couple years old but low mileage and mild use till now. Just got it back together and it's leaking from the high pressure hose. Just doesn't seem to fit right and leaks out the top. Is there a special washer or ring i lost when i took it in i need to replace? I'm summer ready once i get these leaks figured out

That should be a flared fitting, no seal required. Take it off and check that the flare on the fitting and on the hose aren’t damaged. When you tighten it, run it down snug and then turn the wrench one flat.
