I have a question on the trim, but the car is for sale so I posted it here...
1971 Plymouth Fury Sport | eBay

Is this side trim factory-correct? The style is somewhat like 68 fury 3, however those get taller and with the divided centerline on the quarterpanel. This one is same height and divided the whole length. The curved part at the back bumper makes it look like it's factory, not some stick-on thing. Seems that it's held on by clips, too, which would not be aftermarket.

For those of you following at home...this car is coded Y88 New Car Service- like the Y84 'Cuda in the other thread-plus it codes Y22 Corporate lease-executive with R VON. It was a nice ride...

the other interesting tid bit is the screw in the left hole. Given the paint on the head, it appears factory. I've not seen a screw used on a 71 Belvidere plant tag. Only rivets.

Carry on......

Can you please elaborate on the R code.

Where is it coded Y88. I can't seem to find it on the build sheet.
And I don't see the Y22 either. Am I just blind? I'm assuming it's on the build sheet.

It is and you are. ;)
Save as, rotate 90 degrees, compare to a 71 BS and the codes will pop out.
