So, while heading home from a recent vacation I spotted this gem sitting on a used car lot. Only one classic on the lot and priced rather precious, but still fun to spot one worth having while cruising the highway through town, and it was front and center also.

Not being in the market I still had to stop and talk with them, (cue wife busily shaking head while sitting in the truck), to find that the one person with any real knowledge was out for the day. Did find out that they'd run book to determine between 14K and 24K as the value range and they were now "taking offers", so no real price tag as such but he indicated it would probably move at around 18 or so but with the store owner out, (the knowledgeable guy), he was only guessing. Doubt there's a lot of interest here due to the price range, just sharing my pleasure at seeing one of "ours" situated nicely on a lot.

What a nice car - those Furys were sturdy, good looking, quality cars and that one is really a stand out. Some Nebraska farmer must have been storing it for a long time and cared for it well.

What are you doing in Nebraska?!? There's snow a flying up here!

Is that a puddle of oil up front or water? I ask because it looks like it doesn't connect to the water behind it.

Maybe the gas tank leaks too, with the water at the rear of the car. Might have rained shortly before the took the pics.

Ha! I didn't read all of the previous post @The Horvaths, I'm just repeating!

Pretty sure it was just water, fairly recent rain before my visit and no signs of major mechanical issues. With it up on the podium I had a fairly good view of the bottom without crawling.

I was avoiding the snow - spent a week in the Big Bend with 90+ sunny days - left the day before a major cooldown with rain/wind down there, got home just as it started to warm up. All in all a well timed trip.

That truck of yours has a tow rating of....

More than enough to drag the convertible up from Texas last year............. this one would be lighter.

You got the convertible from Texas? Wish I would have known, I'd have sent a few of my coworkers back there with you!
