John Lennon's C-Body Station Wagon sells for $5k in 2011

I was born and raised in Milwaukee and retired from the Army here in Aberdeen, Md in 1996. Glen Burnie is just on the other side of Baltimore. Very close to me. Where in Wisconsin is the cabin?

I was born in Milwaukee too. My Dad was going to school at the Milwaukee School of Engineering after serving in the Army during the Korean War (2 silver stars). We moved back to Minneapolis when I was two and the cabin is in northwestern WI 1/2 way between Cumberland & Luck (which is a long way from Ed Gein's haunts in Plainfield WI).

Salute to your Dad!!!

I lived on the east side (Weil St) of Milwaukee and went to Boy's Tech &Trade High School and graduated in 1973. I retired from the Army in 1996 and live in Aberdeen, Maryland now.

Ed Gein! LOL!

How about Damler!!!!

I think Damler was in Milwaukee! I was born in Columbia Hospital (gone now, I've been told, as I have never been back to Milwaukee) and I graduated from Southwest High in Mpls. in 1974. My Dad passed away at age 57 (about 2 years after the photo of the blue wagon was taken) and our family did not know about his 2 silver stars until after he died and I was going through his Army papers. I sent it all the paperwork into the Army to try to get the actual silver stars (he never filed the papers, nor did he ever talk about his Korean experience to me, my brother, or sister) for my brother and myself, but they replied with "the Army's corresponding records were destroyed during a fire in 1976 at a St. Louis, MO. government warehouse" (they kept all the paperwork I sent too). Thanks for your service too. My Dad told me how sometimes between classes at MSOE he would jump in line with the end of the tour at the nearby Schlitz brewery to get some samples at the hospitality room.

Yep, those were the days. You could hit all 3 brewery tours if you were quick enough, Schlitz, Miller, Pabst in the same day.

My great grandfather (originally from Frankfurt, Germany) was a brewer at Miller from 1880-1919.....until prohibition.
