mmmm...yea just what I was thinking about the rain part. Have yet to see that, and south philly is the roofing capital of the world.
 
If I were you, I'd go back and grab all the trim clips I could from the Newport and New Yorker. You'll be glad you did when you're putting your trim back on after paint.

I was thinking about that, but I was disappointed that the lower trim is different and use different clips than the 300, and that is what I actually need a couple of clips for.

You will need beltline molding clips. Some will break when removing the trim.
 
Dang, I wish I'd have known about this yard earlier! I just drove back to Georgia from Toledo for Thanksgiving!
But I'll work it into my plans for the next visit back up there.

It would be a little out of your way, because I presume you are driving up 75 through. It is only a few miles off 71 about 25 miles south of Columbus.
