Iv had a couple guys reach out to me on this Q4, 1969 New Yorker I bought in 2017. Not a car I would usually restore but the guy behind me to buy it was going to derby it. Anyway, I started restoration in 2017 but some other cars ended up taking precedence. I picked back up on it last year and tore it all down. This car only had 15,000 original miles when I got it but sat on a dirt floor, parked in a barn, since 1990. I still have the original tires from 1969. Everything came apart, torn down and got rebuilt and refinished. I thought I'd share.

Three posts start to finish, you made it look easy! Amazing job! I don't believe I've ever seen such a detailed power seat motor. Thanks for sharing!

First, beautiful car and great job on the work! Next, thank you for not only saving it, but completing the work to such a high degree.

Not a car I would usually restore but I decided to knock it outta the park.

Fixed it for you.
Great work!!!!!
You absolutely better bring this car on the next CATL drive. NW Indiana is central to those trips. (@ayilar - put him on the list)

Coincidentally, the 440 in my avatar car came out of a 69 NY with those exact seats, in the same color.
(It was quite rusty, too thin to even be worth being a derby car.)

Unbelievable!! Is the ignition switch really on the left side, like a Pontiac? Never seen that before, but what do I know, I drive a 66! Stunning work!

Wow, that's ridiculous. Great attention to detail and beautiful paint. Elegant.

I'm loving the non vinyl top cars more and more.
