I had to put down one of my roommates dogs because they wouldn't. Buried him in the back yard with the help of another friend in mostly frozen ground. Cried for him and he wasn't even my dog. The worst was my flat coat retriever, lived to be 13, playful as a puppy til his last day, just like a breeder I met told me he would do. Had to leave work, go to the vet who stayed open til I got there, say my goodbyes, and go back to work and close up. I didn't cry for 5 years, until I saw the end of Marley and Me. Wailed like a 5 year old. It all came pouring out. I get all emotional thinking that my Rottweiler is getting up there in age. She won't live forever, but she will always be with me, just like all my dogs before her. It never gets easier, but we keep doing it. Furyus, you have plenty of people who know exactly what you are going through. Hang in there man, Bo will always be with you.
