I dont find those that good looking. Later 50s Dodge trucks were really alot nicer IMO.

Especially with fins... but they're hard to find and expensive... the F...'s and C...'s of this era are more popular because they are prettier, but I could love this.

Yea the Early 50s, late 40s chevy trucks are quite nice. My Dad bought one when i was about 6 or 7, wish he kept it.

I have a Soft spot for the late 50s Apaches. Love those.

Don't get me wrong I love the look of the chevys and fords... but the sweptsides are so rare lots don't even know they exist... BTW couldn't the hemi be stock? Or were they already out of the trucks too?

I'm also tall... so none of these are fun to sit in for very long.

My Dad Told me a Story when he was little Riding in a 56 Dodge Truck with a Hemi, He Said that thing was fast and would throw him around every-time the Guy laid into it.

Man are the Sweptsides Gorgeous.

I do not believe that they ever came with a Hemi from the factory. They came with flat head six's, or V8 Poly motors...but some of the poly motors can be converted to a Hemi with a top end swap.

Correct me if I'm wrong. 354 and 392 use the same mounts as the 318 poly.

These trucks were offered in 1957 and 58. They used 56 Dodge Suburban 1/4 panels.
This truck is a 57, much nicer looking then the 58, (IMHO), when the front sheet metal was changed

Both years could be ordered with a "hemi". A 354 Chrysler engine I believe. A auto trans with push button controls could also be ordered
