Kool video in your Hagerty E-newsletter

Almost ready for paint, its been a while (couple years) since I worked on it and its at a buddies collision shop in line to be finished off, prepped and painted by his guys. I'm hoping to see it in paint in the near future. Engine is at my engine builder, I have most everything to make it a roller again and most of the interior. A lot of work still though.

Matt, You and your dad seem like Very interesting guys, I'd love to meet you someday, and well I will, Detroit isn't that far and I have family in Windsor. Hopefully one day I get to run the Fury across the Ambassador.

I would love that Nick, depending on where you're at in Windsor, it might only take you 40 minutes to get to my shop.
Anytime, no matter what yer drivin'!

That's cool. I can't wait to see it when it's back from paint. What color are you painting it?

LL1 Turquoise with a white over black interior. It was originally a turquoise car but with a black interior. This car has no fender tag, build sheet or any of its original drivetrain parts so I'm taking some liberties with it. It is a pretty unusual car as originally ordered 4 speed post coupe with no power steering or power brakes but had a.c.. That along with it being an LL1 car makes it among the super rare. I really wish I had some documentation to go along with it but I don't. I had to swap out the whole cowl section and went with a non a.c. Unit as I knew I wasn't going to make it back into an a.c. Car, sorry Stan...
What it will be though is a 383 Six Barrel with an Air Grabber set-up from '69 and it'll have the 4 speed and a 3.55 sure grip. This one will be for short trips and around town cruising.

Congrats Matt, to you and your Dad. That put a big smile on my face when I watched it. Thanks!

Surf Turquoise Metallic is a very cool color!!!

That is a great video and a great moment (no, I'm not crying there is rust in my eye!). How lucky are you to have your dad to share the Mopar passion. I hope do do this with my son someday with the 300, just to cruise around in the car we built, that's really what it's all about.

Thanks Stan, I definitely feel blessed to have not only a father like mine but the whole family, including my 100 year old grandma who commented on a pic of my Imperial the other day by saying "that's a coupe, isn't it?" And she never had a drivers license!!!

Belated congrats on the video; I didn't open this thread until now as I thought it just contains some classic car insurance info. ;)

It did, Hagertry is my favorite! I wish this came with a discount on my policy...
