One of my best friends, Burke Brown, who was the chief engineer of the LX platform that was introduced back in 2004 and which has evolved into what are today's Chargers, Challengers, Chrysler 300s etc, called me yesterday to let me know Larry had passed away. Larrry was a legend at Chrysler and he was already a legend when I started working at central engineering in Highland Park, MI in 1969. The coronavirus took him out. Sad way to end it all.
There would have been no Daytona or Superbird except for him. And now they are legends too.
