I was thinking about under the dash centered, but there' s the floor air bar that takes up that whole area. Does anyone know if remotes will work through the plastic blank off plate?

yep, you can get a repeater if you need to.

I decided to mount it under the dash, behind the foot air bar mounted to the bottom of the heater core plastic. I used some pretty shallow screws to make sure I didn't bust the core. Unfortunately it's fallen down twice now. I don't know if it's just the old plastic that's too brittle or what, but I need to find a way to get it to stay...
