Hi,

A 1977 Chrysler Town & Country moved to our house last week. The wiring's a mess as usual. I couldn't find any good wiring diagrams and/or service manuals online. Usually the "mymopar" website is my friend with the older cars, but this time it was no help. Also is there a way to decode the fender tag on these newer models?

The fender tag format is the same as 1972 or so cars. That format is located in the "INFO" section of the Chrysler Parts Manuals. The related option codes are in the Order Guides can be found in the spreadsheet in the "Library" section at www.hamtramck-historical.com . Just click on the model range icon of your desired model year.

Hope this might help,

Cool page but it's terrible to use. And I couldn't find the wiring diagrams from there.
I am looking through the service manual right now, easy. I am looking at the wiring diagram pages, a few of the electrical pages are loaded but not enough
Buy the service manual for your car, you won't be sorry. I have up to 76, I better look for the next two years.

There was an electrical-specific service manual. It was very helpful when I restored my 77 T&C. Here's one on ebay for $10...1977 Chrysler Plymouth Dodge electrical Service Manual MN763 | eBay
