I seriously doubt that ANY N.O.S. parts dealers gives out any kind of discounts at all.....period.

I've NEVER heard of any kind of discount sales at salvage yards on USED parts....have you?

Custom ordered parts built specifically for a customer's special needs and requiring an upfront partial payment are most certainly not discounted by the manufacturers or the parts vendors that sell them.

"Why bother having a sale at all?"........

Because we do offer a lot of parts that simply cannot be sourced from any other place. And the discounts on the gift certificates gives the customer an opportunity to lock in a discount for a purchase that they'd like to make in the future when it is more convenient FOR THEM.

"I'll source what I need elsewhere.".......

That's the one thing I love about America......freedom of choice.

I don't know. I've had several occasions where a NOS parts dealer has reduced his price, just because I made a reasonable offer.

Yes .......Always. If the prices at the salvage yard are not negotiable ...... your at the wrong place.

While I do appreciate the fact that you offer many nice NOS items for A,B & E bodys i've found your C body and forward look selection quite slim.
As far as the reproduction items you offer ..... 10% off your prices are still higher then some other reliable sources. Aynymore, when I see your display at a swap or show ...... I just walk by.

I remember several years awhile back when I was cruising your tent at Mopars on the Strip. A bunch of guys in the tent were glad handing everyone with huge smiles and thrusting your catalog into our hands. As we exited your tent, outside you had someone there charging us 5 bucks for it.
