I didn't know the red centers were reflectors. I had a set on my 78 'Doba back in the day...I guess I never caught them in the correct light.

So funny story about that car... i called the seller 30 min after his post on kijiji told him ill pay his asking price and send it to him immediately on an etransfer as I was out of town. He said no need the car is yours pay me when you come get it the next day. Obviously I wasn’t thrilled with that plan but the seller seemed nice so deal was struck. 5 hours later I see “My” car on facebook for $4000 more than the seller wanted. I was pissed off so called the seller to complain but never took my call. The flipper is still trying to sell it to this day for the extra $4k....hope he lives with it for a while. I sent him an offer for $250 more than he paid...funny no response

I have been trying to find a set of those for my Dip wagon for eons - you NEVER see them. In all my years of checking at Carlisle (pretty much since 2003 when I bought it) only ONE has turned up.......

I know how you feel. I made a "hand shake" deal over the phone on a 62 Chrysler 300 convertible sometime back. I should have sent the agreed upon $1000.00 deposit right then. Because of a dinner engagement I was late for I waited 4 hours to send it. He emailed and said he had then "sold" the car to someone else for $100.00 more then we had agreed on.
The only good thing is a member here got the car, (he was not aware of the deal we had made, I hope). He has giving the car the love it needed.
