45's have great stopping power but can jam at the worst moment.

I prefer a .44 mag revolver for personal protection (especially in motels). Can't jam and 6 shots. If you can't stop the threat in 6 shots because you can't aim.... well you'll be in deep sh*t anyways.

IMHO, the .44 mag is too much gun for a lot of people... Expensive to shoot and not something that you'll put a lot of lead down range practicing with.

But... I have a .44 mag Super Blackhawk that I love to shoot!

That S&W .44 mag is for personal protection only. I don't need any target practice. LOL!!!

I have other weapons for recreational shooting.

I like your Super Blackhawk!

The Super Blackhawk is a lot of fun, but I have a .357mag Blackhawk that is really a lot more fun to shoot. A lot cheaper too when I use .38 specials for practice.
