Thanks to @70 Sport Suburban we have another (#9) N-code Fury iii ‘vert! PM27N0D123564 sports a lustrous FY6 paint, and her SBD is September 12, 1969. The Swedish owner acquired this gorgeous ragtop from Florida in 2001! He is active on social networks, and the car is still around: it is apparently attending many car shows.

Funny that you should mention that mod. Here is another Scandinavian (Swedish?) Fury iii convertible with 1971 taillights. The photos were taken at Falkenberg, Sweden in 2018. I am hyperlinking to avoid any copyright issue.





Here is a photo of the interior of that red car -- console and buckets, woodgrain steering wheel! The car is said on the site to have a "6.3-liter 334bhp engine" so it might even be an N-code -- but only the tag will tell.

So many of these in B7 have come to light in the past few years, I count at least five. Either a high survival rate or a very popular color in 1970. This one would be interesting to see in its original white interior/black top. I’m on the fence with what I’m going to go with on mine, but I’m partial to white even though it is tagged for black.

You would like the white much better in a convertible. IMHO, they look better, but the real bonus is the white seats won't get as hot as the black.

Don't be afraid to look at other colors for the top either.... I get more compliments about the tan (non-stock color) top on my car.

Here is one found in the car corral at Carlisle today that has the same SPD as @c-barge 1970 Newport. CM27T0C263142, a very clean and mostly original EF9 1970 Chrysler 300. Asking price is $21,500.

CM27T0C263142 came from Arizona. A friend of the seller bought it and brought it to Ohio. He replaced the top and seat covers (both well done), and fixed some things in the engine bay (less well done IMHO). Unfortunately, he also sprayed the underside with oil (?) to preserve the (said to be all rust-free) metal. He kept the paint for last, which is why it is original.

The ask was $21.5k when I saw the car.

Thanks to @Samplingman and @69monaco, we now know the whereabouts of CM27T0C159740. This EB7 300 ‘vert with M6B3 interior has had its heart ripped out, unfortunately, and the rest of the car is for sale on FB.

the car is loaded with H53 auto temp, power toys and a fancy radio. The SBD was November 6, 1969.

Thank you. DL27H9D178582 belongs to tallzag. This 383-4 Polara ‘vert has not shown up here before because it’s a 1969, not a 1970. Still good to have the tag for records!

@Rustymuscle recently acquired and is now restoring PM27G0D159805. This EB3 blue / blue bench / white top 1970 Fury iii 'vert has a SBD of Nov. 14, 1969.

Highest date I've seen is 7 14.

The model changer over in that era was August 1.
The last cars of the model year would be built in the first two weeks of July.
The assembly plants all closed for retooling for the new model year in the last two weeks of July.
All the production workers got the same exact vacations. Two weeks in July and the last two weeks in December.
Production of the new model year would begin when the plants re opened in August.

The last production date was probably 7/17/70 which was a Friday
