not the exact one as i was too lazy to take a post pics but mine are both really nice........got both a 69 and 70 so I have one for each car, will register each car w/the original year plate

yes, both registerable in PA. My wife's uncle has one of the best lic plate collections in the country, he was able to get them through his contacts. Should have them registered by mid April, just in time to take the cars out of their slumber. Then it'll be time to try and get the carb issue worked out on the Polara.

Excellent Mark, can't wait to see them on the car.

Mark, how, where, who can I get a set of 1978 Maryland plates from......I've been looking and haven't had any luck.

I wanted to do that myself, but NY is a little fussy, wanting you to only use the car in shows and parades. I drive my car a lot so I'd be chancing it. They also want "historical" insurance... not classic insurance.. and they want it spelled out on the policy.

The local cops might be OK with it... But I've seen them write tickets for guys running "dealer" plates on cars that didn't have for sale signs.

We have the same thing here in Ontario. The loop hole here if you get pulled over is to claim that you are conducting a test drive following a repair. I run the historic plates on both old rides.
