need for this

I saw this at Desert Valley Used Auto Parts back in March. Not sure if sold means they sold it, or if that's from some time in the past. Other problem with them is their prices tend to be very high.

well more then likely not, because of 2 issues its in Canada and other is its a big hurdle to get in the US

I'd add a third issue. Looking at the photo that shows the fender, the car is probably as rotted or worse than what you have.

I'm not so sure about that. I think they're neck and neck in the rust department. Look at all the patches and brazing done on this fender.

I bet there's a reason that the seller isn't showing the sides or any lower areas of the car. Remember, Ontario CA is terrible for rust. No better than New York.

This is a really ambitious project! If I was going to tackle this, I'd have to find a coupe donor car considering how bad this quarter is.

W.W. Have you been watching the Cold War Motors YouTube videos on the 1960 Fury restoration? Those will give you a good idea of what you're up against.

I'm a bit behind on updating my thread with links to the newer episodes. He just about has all the metal work done on the car now.

Some serious Foward Look surgery going on at Cold War Motors

this car is not aid me. my experience in metal work is pretty vast. yes a donor will make it easier and quicker, thats why im searching for one

for those who dont know or understand, there was only 596 firesweep verts made in 59. i was told by a guy who tracks them well over 30+ years told me there are only 14 known to exist. only 6 in the US

so hopefully this winter/early spring it can be started on

Call Benny Buckner in Princeton, WV. He has around 200 mid 50's-mid 60s MOPARs on his farm. If he doesn't have one, he may know where one is He has a very rare 56 Desota Convertible that needs restoration that's going up for sale. He restores 5 or 6 cars per year. Has sold cars and parts all over the world.
