I was watching a promo dealer ad for a Chrysler and only thought to ask now if anybody knew a P/N for these. I've seen them before, it seems like a fairly rare option for Newports/even New Yorkers. Some pieces even seemed to have special trim for the rear pillars, which also seems very uncommon, I'll take P/Ns on those rear pillar trim pieces too. If I can find a picture.

Here's the rear lights themselves:

Thanks to anyone who knows. I swore I saw a special trim cover for the rear pillars but Google isn't being helpful. If I find a good example I know I remember seeing I'll post it here as well.

I think Year One sells them & Laysons. I have used ones from cars I’ve parted.

I have some of these too, mostly Imperial with wood trim but a few non Imperial too. I might even have some pillar covers too.

They used them in a bunch of cars over the years.

My '65 Barracuda has this style.

A '67-69 Barracuda has this style, with a little more detail.

They aren't hard to find used and the plastic lens is repop'd. I think the entire piece is repop'd (at least the later one I've shown is), but finding the earlier, plain ones are pretty easy. (Hint, look on FABO) If you find the trim with bad plastic, here's the lens.

I'll bet the Imperial version is one of these with a wood applique.

I think I have some although they'd still be in the cars and I haven't looked for condition.

The Imperial bezel is the bottom pic and it’s a cast piece compared to the stamped unit above it. I have more of both and nicer lenses too or as John confirmed you can buy new.

It doesn't surprise me that it's a nicer cast piece for the Imperial. Those are the little touches that make the car.

If it were the 70's, it would probably be the stamped piece with an applique, but mid 60's... Yea...

I have more lenses, how many would you like?

I'm a bit strapped for cash so I can't buy anything right at the moment, maybe when the stimulus hits...
But I only need 2.
My Newport didn't actually come with any of the lights, but I wanted to add them in the future, mainly because I like courtesy lights, and I wish more cars had them. Makes reading a book easier while riding in the back.

And I actually did end up finding what I was talking about with the rear pillar trim! Kind of.

From my memory it sort of looked like this, but had more of a "gator grain" texture and was green in the car I remember. And it was all one piece instead of 3, one for the area at the seat, one for the windows, and one for the rear window. It might've been on a 2 door hardtop instead of a 4 door, but I remember it vividly.
