Looking for period correct or OEM front vinyl floor mat, C body

It would be great if you would contact member @QQE -- he owns and runs a reputable reproduction business in PA that caters to Mopars, including C-bodies (the website for Quirey Quality Design Co has contact info, too). @saforwardlook @Big_John @Great Pumpkin
Happy Easter.

So…I guess the consensus is, no, there has been no real follow-up on the ability or willingness of a manufacturer to repop suitable floor mats. So, I guess I have a project - at least the follow-up part.

The link from this post seems to be broken, but you can get to Quirey’s website by going to quireyqualitydesign.com

Was not aware of them, so thanks for the tip. If you download their catalog, they do sell earlier model floor mats.

I was going to send an e-mail to Quirey’s asking them to check out this thread and if they could repop, but the only contact is by phone. I will try to give them a call Monday, 20 April.

I will also reach out to DMT and ask the same question.

Whatever responses I get, I will pass along.

Alright. Question asked to DMT via webmail. Let’s see what if any response I get.

So…had a good conversation with someone at Quirey’s (can’t recall his name, but not the owner). Super friendly and helpful.

The BLUF: Little to no chance they would take on repop’ing.

He mentioned DMT is probably going to be the same result. He did say he would speak with the owner. I encouraged them to check out this thread as a gauge of interest and potential purchasers.

They will be at Carlisle, so chat them and other vendors up. If the market has enough demand, someone will want to chase the dollar.

He mentioned Andy Bernbaum has a new owner - Chase? He might be interested if the demand is there. I will give them a call as well.

Alright, I did my part, so how about some help?

Spoke to a Bernbaum rep, no joy. Referred me to REM. Waiting on a response.

All these vendors and more will be at Carlisle. Some either manufacture or have access to manufacturers.

If all of us made it a point to speak with these vendors and included floor mats on our “I wish there was a repop source for (fill in the blank)” they in-turn may decide to fill the demand.

Maybe Murry Park could get it done? He did the door sill plates and the washer bottles. Whoever does it, would probably have to be willing to hang on to significant amount of inventory.

I have this front floor mat if you're still searching.

What about this place: www . nosreproductions . com ?

Alright, this will probably be my last post on this thread or the topic of OEM floor mats. I’ve done my part.

Never heard back from DMT.

Had a very good conversation with Mike at #REM - remautoinc.com

The consensus favorite for being able to repop OEM one-piece front floor mats is…#Legendary lengendaryautointeriors.com

Why Legendary? They have the skill, now they just need the will.

Their will requires each of you to either reach out to them online/call (Mike recommended speaking to either Dan or Bryan). If we all reach out, they will get a sense for the demand. Keep in mind, these one-piece over the hump floor mats were universal across body styles so its potentially a bigger market.

Again, chat them and other vendors up if you are going to Carlisle. As I said, someone will chase the dollar if the market provides the demand signal.
