Seems the longer park brake cable on rear is sticking. I cant tell if the cable is open or has a sealed rubber/vinyl liner. I tried spraying with break free, but it may be sealed. Any thoughts.

Prob right, replace. I used to have a nice shop with lift, and am now on gravel....grandchildren move. So all of this lifting and working under is not as easy as once was.....oh well, nothing is as easy as it once was.

Will the cable move at all in the sheath/guard?
Have you tried putting the end in a vise and pulling hard on the sheath/guard?
Usually the sticking is close to where the cable exits the sheath/guard. Soaking the ends in penetrating oil is worth a try if you want to save the part.

Good points.....I wanted to take the easy way out first if possible, which would be like the lawn and garden cables that you can get some lube thru. May be more like a motorcycle cable with a solid sheath....cant tell yet. But, I moved the front end just a tat by pulling with vise grips.....so have to pull the wheel again to change to new one. At that time, I will be able to access the other end at the lever, and will get a bit more aggressive. May have to pull it and then some soaking and tugging will be in order. thanks
