Modern "classic" distributor

Looks really cool. I wish they'd make a resto version w/a factory looking cap. While I didn't look too extensively, do they say the curve is adjustible too?

Won't look any funnier than a Davis Unitized Ignition HEI under the hood of a Mopar, or anything else, for that matter.

Looks neat. Just need a knock sensor to complete the package.

Would be a good dizzy to work with a EFI conversion..if compatable.
Only if your wallet can support it,LOL!!

I think it's a bit much [like WAYYYY too much] for a 5000 maximum rpm, 4400 lb, 3:23 geared, non-racecar C-Bod boulevard cruiser that spends its life at 1900 rpm. Not that I don't love my vintage, non-Chinee Mopar Perf electronic ignition (PN3690426), but our engines were designed to work just fine with POINTS, fer gawdsakes.

I was going to say that it's like having a complete, adjustable/programmable, Lean Burn computer inside of the distributor. Just that it doesn't look OEM for a Chrysler vehicle.

Might be interesting to see how the programs optimized for minimum exhaust emissions, max fuel economy, and max power might differ. Which would probably need an EFI system to fully optimize. OR do the testing with an out-of-the box AVS2 approx. 625cfm carb and Edelbrock Performer intake Maybe even the similar-cfm Street Demon (with the phenolic float bowl)?.

I concur that it's a bit of overkill for most of our engines and how they are used.

Enjoy!

Which, incidentally, is what I went to when I tossed the old, crappy Eddy AVS. I absolutely love this modern, easily adjustable (secondary opening), leakproof, responsive carb.
