Super rare 69 NASCAR Charger 500. Can't be many of these left. He drives this car to the shows. I've seen it on the road twice. Got to be a clone. But maybe not. He sets up a nice photo display next to the car

This car has been around for decades. It's a real 72 Road Runner. 400 4 speed car. Now has a stroker B motor 727. It's been a drag car since the early 80's.

I went to test and tune Fri night because it was such a nice night 9.39 at the 1/8, 14.49 in 1/4. The converter fixed my bog and wait but made it like launching on ice, I need one in the low- mid 2k. I'm done with this car switch the converter to something more drivable and just drive. Time to get back on my Barracuda, I am shopping roll bars before I finish the body.

What car was this ?

My Challenger. 74 400 with closed chamber heads ~8.43:1, 3.23 rear, headers it MPH in the high 90s, 60' is a best of 2.19 coming out sideways. Drag radials would help this car but I'm not going there....Yet. maybe after I put a 451" low deck together. Charger is in one piece so back on Barracuda.

I think I talked to this guy and I seem to remember him telling me it was an original. I saw it about three years ago at the same track.

Rodney Carswell won the drag race in his 440 powered Dart Sport. I've raced Rodney many times. Good racer.
