I read an article that NASCAR had a series for small 6 cylinder cars (Valiant, Falcon, Nova etc.) In the early '60's, but discontinued it because the MoPars dominated with the slant 6 and the competition couldn't catch up.
yep, I've driven at least one car with one, and always heard they were a very tough engine.

8-Track stereo tape cartridge player. This was the state of the art audio accessory from Chrysler in 1968.

Interesting statement in the instructions:

Ah yes, The Sound of Stereo. Still have the factory tape somewhere.
Our 68 Charger had the factory 8-track and rear speaker. At the time the ultimate in car sound systems.
I can remember the tape skipping as we hit the expansion joints in Northwestern Highway.
