Whats with that photo of the Bullitt Charger?
Triple stripe white walls.
The Charger script on the C pillar looks odd.
That streak running down from the qtr window seems odd for a brand new car. Been sitting outside for a long time.
‘Course McQueen looks as cool as ever.
 
I wonder if the Bullitt movie Charger was a wrecked one that was repaired for the movie? I've read and heard that it wasn't uncommon to use damaged cars and band-aid them because they were easily available and cheap. Look at the top of the quarter panel behind Steve. Seems "lumpy"

It may have been a wreck. This could be a roller they wreck at end of chase. Although the movie was released fall 68 it was a new model when filming started.
All they needed was a new vette and they’d have the big three’s best looking cars of the decade.
