@saforwardlook That's gotta be a pretty rare color for a 300 hey Steve? What is it? Very cool!

That was indeed a very rare color Kenny, called "copper brown metallic" - I have only ever seen one other 1957 Chrysler 300C in all my years in that color.

I believe I recall where that photo came from, as it was in a Chrysler 300 Club monthly booklet (maybe 10 years ago now) wherein the original owner took the photo with his new wife at the time shortly after he bought the car. We will never know if she married him for the car or not though. At the time of the publication of that booklet, he and his wife still owned the car.

Here also is a color chart with the color shown (not the clearest), but it is there - this is a color chart for all Chrysler models in 1957 but copper brown metallic (or poly depending on the supplier) was one of the colors for the 1957 300C:

The available colors for the 300C and all the other letter cars are listed in this chart from the Chrysler 300 Club:

Well, even if it started out that way I'm sure they figured it out by now!!!:rofl:

That color is beautiful... I wish there were more or more pics of it in that color. I would think it has the tan leather interior?
Thanks Steve!

Yes, indeed, as tan was the only regularly available color interior that year in the 300C. I really like that brown exterior color as well, but then what doesn't look good on a 300C? Actually, though, I wasn't that crazy about the available green that year - kind of a washed out looking green I felt.
