Mopar wrecking yard, AWESOME C-bodies

Yea, that Imperial and those wagons don't belong in a wrecking yard...far too much potential left in them by the looks of them.

Well, I went up there today and lets just say its been a great day. :) I am now working for wildcat marketing their cars. I will be listing several this weekend, so keep an eye out. I also worked a deal for a project that I want to work on starting hopefully this fall or winter. I'll post a fender tag pic for those of you that like the really rare stuff. I also returned a few PMs with pictures and took some of a few other cars. Here's the FT for my project as well as a pic or two, then a few more of others. BTW, the 69 imperial looks like a great project, except it sat in a swamp for years and is rusting from the inside out, very sad actually.

What do you mean by formals?

74-78 C-bodies.

I'm interested in New Yorker and Newport parts. I'm looking for perfect light blue door panels for a 4 door NYB and a green headliner for a NYB. A perfect grill for a 77-78 Newport.

I will be back up there Saturday and will look for more later C-bodies.

There are so many awesome cars up there, it's crazy. I spend hours there every time I go, so it only makes sense that I should work there.

I want to go to there...:love10:

No........ They have a yard boy that pulls your parts. I called there one time for a gas tank filler neck grommet thinking they would have a good source....... He wanted just as much for a used 45 year old mushy one that I could buy one for new........
I called one time in the winter they were in hibernation mode....... We'll we got snow, and we'll have to go out there later.........

Is that the type of yard where you can pull the parts yourself?

They pull the parts for you. Some say they are slow ^, but yesterday while I was there, someone bought a whole dash out of a car that was on top of another car. They had it pulled out in about an hour and a half.

I guess if you are standing right there waiting they will move......... When you are a mail order customer they take there time.......

Ok, but they do let you wander around to take pics? Seems like a good tourist attraction for motor heads, is there a yard fee to get in?

You are welcome to come and check the place out and take photos. There is no yard fee. Just come and enjoy. No kids under 12 are allowed in the yard though.
