More pics from Carlisle 2013

OMG HELL? Tell me John Colone didn't evict you for some slight indescression. If he did tell my and I'll buzz over there and stomp hiz butt and then you can come back home. For those of you Car-Bud'z that don't know the story. Mr Colone (John) once upon ah time owned The Mopar Dealership in Pinkney, Mi 'bout 6-7 miles from Hell, Mi. And Yup, It's ah real town post office, Zip Code and all! Had his own cruises and car shows all thru' the '80s and into the '90s and called them "AH HELL OF A CRUISE" He, John sold the Dealership in the late '90s and proceeded to buy Hell P.O. and all. Back in the '70s before the Dealership thing John was an Engineer at Motherz Proving Groundz in Chelsea, Mi. where I've called home for 40 some odd yearz. John and I have met but that's another story. BTW, I waz tippin' St. Pauli's with Johns Brother and the brothers wife in the Eagles most of that Afternoon in '11. Didn't need a D.D. but close. Too darn hot that day to spend much time out of the A/C if you recall. Can't say I know your Pal Rick Adams but if he's ah mopar guy I'll bet we've met without exchanging namez, MY FAULT NO DOUBT, Jer

Haha! No colone didnt evict me! lol The folks are still up there in Hell. My old man used to work at pinckney chrysler, as a service advisor. Thats where I grew up! Spent many afternoons there buggin Jake (a family friend/co worker) to take me out in the vipers on the lot. We always went out, and tore up M-36 with some cars. Dan bought the dealer from colone years ago, and that guy is an ***!! He fired some people including my dad, and whoever remained hated him. 80% of the people who used to work at pinckney chrysler in the good days, are now working at Ohara chrysler down in clinton.

We used to see colone quite a bit, but not lately. He gave me a bunch of old original sales poster of formals from back in the 70's. I believe he sold most of his toys off? Still has the hot rod though I believe..

I'll get back up there eventually! I do miss it! The girlfriend still has 2 years left of schooling, and she wants to finish down here.... I wasnt sure if you would know Rick or not. Hes one of the mopar go to guys in Pinckney.

Let' see some picture of those Formal posters.

There up north with the folks somewhere... I believe the big poster was for '74 chryslers. He also gave me my '75 fsm for the monaco. That was my favorite gift!! I'll get a pic, or may even offer the poster up on here next time I see it. I havn't laid eyes on it in years...

Thanks for pics Dave. I vote you for 1st place in picture taking FWIW. I get lost in soaking in all things mopar, to remember to take pics, but thats what the show is all about

Your welcome guys. Like I said, I took them with FCBO in mind. I wont keep them, they'll probably be deleted soon on my computer

Yea, thanks Dave. I really enjoyed the photos. Sorry I couldn't make it.

Thats good Ross, I wish you made it too. We needed you and Mike there along with Matt to complete things

Dave- I love this picture with the members rides in the semi- circle. Very cool!!!

I have a brick (external hard drive) just for pictures. They are pretty cheap these days. And simple to use....one USB cable and "cut and paste" from your computer.

ACN at carlisle is 12,13,&14 of July 2014 IMHO not having to wade through the gm and Ford's is reason to go to carlise, but I would have to almost think about it if I was in Columbus ,the hot rods alone are worth it even if they aren't a mopar

Yes I feel like I have missed out, and the pictures just make me want to be there even more.
