I have been trying to scan some of the material I received from Herb so I can share it here. So far I have not been successful. My scans go to my document file as PDF, which I can open but can't convert to jpg and place into a picture file to download here.
I did get the poster scanned into a file, although the back side is displayed sideways, I've run out of options to fix things.....

For a single page, scanner software should have the option to let you save as a PDF or image file, usually JPG but possibly PNG file format. The problem could be that you're trying to scan multiple pages before trying to save, so your software won't let you save as JPG. Since you were able to scan the above two images, that's my guass as to what is happening. Try scanning only a single image and then open the save dialog.

As a last resort, there are a few ways to take a screenshot of the image when the PDF is open on your screen. The way I use is built into Windows, so there's nothing extra to install. Hold down CTRL and press PRINTSCREEN. (This key is near the top righthand corner of your keyboard.) That copies a snapshot of your screen to the clipboard. Then open MSPaint (picture editor that comes with Windows) and paste the image into MSPaint. Now crop it as you like, then save the file.
