I picked up this 72 fury wagon a couple months ago and wanted to start a thread on it as I try and make it a comfortable daily driver

Looks great, & good luck with the project! Nice that u plan on driving it.

And you look much younger than most of us. Good luck with bringing it back and tap into the knowledge and knowledgeable gray beards on this forum.

yeah I'm 21 and this is my second mopar I definitely got the bug. this is large project got a lot of electrical problems due to a leaky windshield

Cool ride!
Have to ask, trim tag readout? Did the car keep it's broadcast sheet?
Probably a couple BS's in it.

Let's see some more pics!!

Do I see a 49 / 50 ford in the driveway? My dad used to have a blue two-door. Fond memories of driving in the car.

Cool car for sure! PM46K2D271000 Looks to be in decent shape too.
360, Lots of green, H51, Y16 sales bank car. Rivets. Original paint?
Is the only rust in the rear foot pan?

main rust is in the spare tire area. rotting out the bottom quarter panel to. besides that couple holes in the front pain and the driver door bottom is starting to rust out. other then that super stright and original paint. I'm still kind of confused by the Y16 code is that basically mean Chrysler just built it and sent it to a dealership?

these Y16 cars were speced by the factory and placed in a "bank" for sale to any dealer who wanted them.
( found this in another forum ).

Alright first electrical problem I wanna fix is wipers not wanting to park. For my sanity. They do swing up and stop 3/4 way down. Now if I give them a little nudge the keep going and park. I cleaned the wiper switch and plug. Also cleaned the bulkhead connectors. Took the brass ground strap off the wiper motor and cleaned it. Still the same any other ideas. I feel like it’s just a bad ground.
