My 2018 RAM Longhorn

So after a long long long (did I mention long?) journey, the second ugliest truck on the face of the earth has finally landed. My 2019 Ram Laramie Sport.
I couldnt have done it without Graham @Dobalovr. :thankyou: so much for all of your insight and patience, Graham I am much obliged.

The screens are to big and bright for night time driving . Sure, you can adjust the brightness but then it makes it difficult to see at times. I dont understand how a hand held device is distracting but a 12" computer vehicle monitoring / entertainment screen in the middle of the dash is considered safe. Too much stuff to read with the 30 plus apps you may or may not have to scroll through just to turn on the heated seat , rear defogger or adjust the bass on the H/K radio

That's what you have a hot co-pilot for :p

The screen automatically adjusts at night and is easily seen. Even with my four-eyes.
Now, the voice command system is quite advanced. It will do whatever you need without having to look down at the screen and it wont fumble around and ask you 20 times to repeat what you said. It understands plain English. And further, you can program the screen to have the most used icons on the home screen.

So it aint so bad once get over the whole it's a big-stupid-screen-like-the-teslas have. And, I think it's even bigger than the tesla's.

Did a paper copy of the owners manual come with the Ram? My 2018 Ram came with one.

My 2019 Scat Pack didn't come with one. I had to call Dodge Customer Care and they sent one to me.

Speaking of the H/K radio, IT KICKS ***!!!! I listened to Metallica One on the way home with all the windows open and I was blown away.

I will cave on this and wish they used the H/Ks in previous years. It is a much better system. The stupid Alpines are lame. Sure the volume goes to 38 but what does that mean. I want it to hurt me ears so I gotta turn it down.

I REFUSE to use voice command anything except for my hounds. You can justify the stupid screen all you want, its still a stupid screen .
