stopped by my buds Hot Rod Shop today. First time I have been by there in months. He had this 65/6 Mustang he is working on. Also a 68 Road Runner. In the paint booth is a 68 Charger 440

And this Kaiser Jeep truck. Was sitting out back. The customer wanted a 350 Chevy & truck 4 Speed installed so they did that. The original straight 6 with PTO & 4 Speed is sitting on the floor

Sweet! I had a 68 Charger R/T, and I traded it, as I knew I probably would just sit on it and never get around to restoribg it. It was a great lesson to learn about having to much on one's plate. It went to a good home and I still get to see it. Black with red interior and red stripe.

SBC, WTF should be a 5.9 Cummins, to make it a proper truck.
I agree. 5.9 Cummings turbo would have been perfect. I may buy that original Jeep engine & trans. You guys know anyone who would want it. I'll ship it to them. It lost compression on all 6 cylinders

I am liking the charger
They actually restored this Charger & the guys wife rear ended it following him home. So it had to come right back to the shop. It has a few upgrades. Such as disc brakes, electronic ing. & aluminum modern radiator. All to help the car drive & cruise better. Yes they are still married LoL

She was driving the mini van?

Maybe if the Charger didn't have discs...

This shop makes me think of Chris and the job satisfaction that he has had being self employed and working on the cars that is his passion....and be successful at his craft and retiring!!!
