Well first off, it was excellent to finally put faces with names, and to be able to chat with my fellow C body owners.

Ross, I'm more pissed with myself than anything, a guy had a set of NOS '67 Polara taillight lenses, when I went back to get them they had sold.:BangHead:

No Fury parts, not surprising.

Great C body Turnout

We booked a campsite at the Nith River Campground (last minute idea) and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful, perfect weather too, a little chilly lastnight after we played mechanical engineer and put the tent up (friend said it was a ***** to put up, he wasn't joking)

We ended up in the Mopar section of the camp, surrounded by all kinds of cool.

Got the borrowed HEMI ram out on the highway and I was told to let it loose, it moved pretty good.

We arrived at 9 AM, the Duster sold at 11 AM, the guy followed us back to the camp so we could get our truck, and by 1 PM the Duster was on it's way to Toronto, new owner with a mile wide grin as he let it loose on the back road.

I never counted $13,000 in cash before yesterday.

Burnout contest at Wellington Motors was great. Even had a C body ;)

Anyway, we partied hard to celebrate lastnight, don't think any of the other Mopar people headed to bed till some point in the early morning lol, We had a great time and Andy and I got to really have some fun, we've already got a plan for next year, a friend of mine is coming to the camp with us, he's bringing his trailer and Fargo, and we'll be bringing my Fury.

Pictures.

We ended up in a perfect shady spot next to my friend Dennis ( I have pictures somewhere of us pushing the Dragster a few months ago)

And I couldn't come home empty handed,

The minute I saw the jacket I HAD to have it

I got a few goodies aswell and I got to meet and chat with Mr. Norm

The 7 blade fans are from our own Fratzog, thank you again Fred, The Fury will be wearing one by the end of the week.

Nick

Great pics Nick, thank you very much. Red '67 Imp vert looks very nice but I don't think I could pick one fave from the pics, there all nice!

I'm so damn focussed on hood emblems now I can't see the cars.... LOL

Moparfest has got to be one of the best for C body attendance. The shows I went to in the states paled in comparison.

Moparfest has an incredible amount of cars......... Carlisle draws 2500 plus cars, Moparfest draws well over 1500 cars and almost all of them "older iron"

Given all the C 's at Carlisle there is probably a couple hundred. BUT someone there doesnt know that 300's are C's so they dont include them with the C's. Moparfest is a must do show

What, wait.....is that true? Ya gotta be kidding?? Carlisle folks don't consider 300's to be c body cars?( or won't)??

Stupid to segregate 300's from the rest of the C bodies...they probably do the same to Imperials too. I've never been to Carlisle.

Imperial also separated that's right. Gary, didn't you notice the 300' s three rows away across the aisle?

Now that you mention it. I didn't really pick up on that while there because of all the sheer excitement of being surrounded by acres of mopars....but yeah, AND we had to trudge all the way across the field to see the Imperials. They were all parked near gate 2.

Not sure, but they would never segregate the As Bs or Es ....

The organizer is a Mopar guy so he knows what he's doing. One would assume, no love

It is strange. ESP. since the organizer is indeed a Mopar guy. ALL the c's should be together. Ya, probably has a tepid liking for the c body cars. More interested in keeping the A,E,B people happy.
