Well first off, it was excellent to finally put faces with names, and to be able to chat with my fellow C body owners.
Ross, I'm more pissed with myself than anything, a guy had a set of NOS '67 Polara taillight lenses, when I went back to get them they had sold.
No Fury parts, not surprising.
Great C body Turnout
We booked a campsite at the Nith River Campground (last minute idea) and it turned out to be absolutely beautiful, perfect weather too, a little chilly lastnight after we played mechanical engineer and put the tent up (friend said it was a ***** to put up, he wasn't joking)
We ended up in the Mopar section of the camp, surrounded by all kinds of cool.
Got the borrowed HEMI ram out on the highway and I was told to let it loose, it moved pretty good.
We arrived at 9 AM, the Duster sold at 11 AM, the guy followed us back to the camp so we could get our truck, and by 1 PM the Duster was on it's way to Toronto, new owner with a mile wide grin as he let it loose on the back road.
I never counted $13,000 in cash before yesterday.
Burnout contest at Wellington Motors was great. Even had a C body ;)
Anyway, we partied hard to celebrate lastnight, don't think any of the other Mopar people headed to bed till some point in the early morning lol, We had a great time and Andy and I got to really have some fun, we've already got a plan for next year, a friend of mine is coming to the camp with us, he's bringing his trailer and Fargo, and we'll be bringing my Fury.
Pictures.
We ended up in a perfect shady spot next to my friend Dennis ( I have pictures somewhere of us pushing the Dragster a few months ago)
