My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

I’ve been driving this one as much as I can this season and have put over 1200 miles on it and counting. It has been running, shifting and stopping beautifully! I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything turned out.

Shifting to the “it’s always something” category, the digital conversion I had installed in the radio around 12 years ago quit working and needs to be replaced. I guess I can’t be too upset about it but I wish it would have lasted longer than it did. I called the manufacturer and was pleasantly surprised that they answered the phone but the best they could do was refer me over to retro radio restorations where I was told that they could put a new one in to the tune of $400 and an 11 month wait. I haven’t quite figured out if I want to do that so for the time being, I did put in a working original AM/FM radio so I can still listen to my Detroit Tiger baseball games.

I missed you got it all back together this spring. Glad you have enjoyed it this summer. I have been doing the same myself. I got my heads installed late spring and then I installed dual exhaust. It has never run better.

I'm one of the weirdos that's pretty satisfied with low-fidelity AM offerings on Detroit radio, (580 actually has a decent playlist and few commercials... Otherwise it's just conservative talk for me) but if I cared enough, I would just add in one of those Bluetooth signal injectors between the antenna and the radio.
