My new `67 Imperial Crown Coupe!

The right side dumps at the same spot as the LP manifold so that was a piece of cake. I just need to pick up a 2.25” I.D. To use as a coupler.

I didn’t feel good about the old head pipe on the driver’s side so I fabricated a new one and it turned out great. The pipes are finished, I’m just going to clean and maybe paint the manifolds before I install them for good.

I made some progress yesterday. The exhaust is all bolted up and all the wiring is back in place and I’m in the process of adding a chain on the left mount for fear there isn’t a block of rubber up to the task. I’m also cabinet blasting the battery tray parts along with anything else that looked like it needed a refresh. I ordered a new master from Craig @mobileparts but want to deal with installing the steering column and the Auto Pilot before installing the rebuilt brake booster anyway. I’m also going to flush all the old brake fluid out as it’s been in there long enough.

Thanks for being a trailblazer for me on the HP manifold install in a 67/68 Imperial. Looks like the steering will be tight.

I'd appreciate your insights on the column install please!

I checked the fit of the manifolds before the dismantle so I am confident there will be no issues with the steering. I’m going to have to get creative with the Auto Pilot though for sure.
