My New Daily Driver

Yes, $2K below their invoice. I got $17,900 as trade for my 2012 Charger.

Well done! There is only about $2k markup in those cars so sounds like you did well. 0% and rebates have become the norm instead of the special promo they used to be. Not sure if you guys have been following the recent developments with a disgruntled Dealer and FCA in the U.S. but don't kid yourself the manufacturers are pushing Dealers hard to hit targets. The streak is now the most important thing to them. Sales growth at all costs! Its BS asking Dealers to sell cars to themselves to shore up lagging sales but it DOES happen. Large Dealers have Hundreds of Thousands of volume performance dollars at stake every month ..its a drug and FCA is the dial a dope

New Jeep too?

Yes Pete. The wife got a new Grand Cherokee Limited. She had quite a bit positive equity and they were also giving 0% on the Jeeps so we traded up. I wasn't very confident in her '12 after we had to replace a cracked cylinder head. From what I've read and have been told, this was a pretty common epidemic on the early 3.6L V6's. It was a fairly costly repair if not covered under warranty. I didn't want to keep her '12 long term for fear of it happening again or the other side cracking and it being out of warranty.
