My Next Victim

After doing Medina and the AAR cuda it was time for a little break for a vacation and to avoid the summer heat here. But now it's back to work. For a warm up I put a dual snorkel scoop and the hood black out and graphics on a 71 Dart. After the Dart it's a 69 Roadrunner that had an underhood fire. Here's pictures of the Dart.

Next up is another 69 Super Bee! 3rd one of these I've done. We're restoring this one for the original owner. Viet Nam vet who bought it brand new in 69 after returning home from the war.

Taking a short break from the Bee to work on what we refer to as "The Barbecued Roadrunner" It had an underhood fire due to a leaking valve cover gasket. Damage isn't nearly as bad as it could've been. We're replacing the hood and repairing and repainting the engine bay. We are also going to put the blackout stripe treatment on the hood, cowl and top of fenders.

Engine bay ready for primer. Had extra work because during the original restoration some of the spot welds and stamping wrinkles were filled to give it a smooth look. I had to duplicate it on the damaged areas.
