My sweet Valentine

I agree with vdk2010....I hate this day. There's always pressure on the man in the relationship to "not screw up" on this day. You never hear about the women getting thrown in the dog house for buying the wrong gift. It's such a scam and it's geared for children, just like Christmas. Luckily for me my wedding anniversary is in 2 weeks(which is way more important than cheezy coversation heart candies). 10 years! Boy, I better not screw that up.

I am so glad that my fiance and I are on the same page with Valentines day, Neither one of us really give a rats *** about all the BS that goes with it. We each exchange cards, kisses and will go out and get a pizza and drinks Sunday. We both feel that we do not need one day a year to show our love to one another as we are always doing our part on a daily basis every day. After all "Love is a Verb" and every day actions speak louder than commercialized holidays.

To each his own. If today is just another day for you than...good for you. I seriously mean that. Sometimes life gets in the way and we don't always show or give what our partner needs/wants every day. You don't need to go for the commercialized sense of Valentines...it should me more of a heartfilled day. You don't need the flowers or the canday...hell not even the card. You can do that any day. And you should. I believe V-Day is a reminder day for all of us that are busy in our daily lives to go the extra mile from our heart. Don't give me that crap...I do that everyday. BS. We all have our down days and to say that I don't celebrate Christmas or V-Day because it's to commercialized and it's for kids. (Not picking on anyone) Well, maybe I'm out of the norm kind of gal...but I love all the holiday's and I still believe in the tooth fairy. I have the heart of a kid...I get giddy. Maybe you think what your partner needs but coming from the heart of a woman...sometimes we say what you want to hear. Same as what you guys might do. So here's to the romantics...the one's that will do something special for your special one today...and everyday. Howl at the moon tonight. But by all mean...brake out the blue pill!!!!
