Name that girl

Well, you might think your clues were "skimpy", but I got her immediately FROM your clues. Did not look at the photos at all, in fact after I did look at the photos of her I would have never known who she was without reading the clues first. Merely googled later just to confirm I was right.

Gettin awefully bright out here in the open sunshine. What ever happened to that rock I was using for shelter anyway?

Look at that smile. She's probably thinking about all the future cash she will make on insider trading.
She already was a $ten digit "girl" at that time .. who apparently made it hard way (good old fashioned hard work over many years). It's a debate who was "first" to do it, but by 1999 she had surely done it.

maybe she just got greedy? rich people act crazy sometimes .. stealing candy bars from the Rite-Aid (not saying that about her) and stupid crap like that. she only avoid a paper loss of like $40K an got the slam for it.

y'all are knockin' #1,732 outta the park. i will post confirmation for her tomorrow morning.

Age 81. Yes, eighty-one. Media industry businessperson & TV personality. Jersey girl by birth.

Interesting life with this one. Smart, self-made, got big, got really big, crashed and burned so to speak relatively later in life (at age 60), managed to get it all back and more in media world.

Today, one of her BFF's is a "Dogg". They make kinda an odd couple (not romantic-like, but business-wise).

Here in high school in 1959. then in her early career, HS and college, as model in early 1960's - thats the extent of her very tame "cheesecake" era as a young woman,

This "girl" is still famous, even as an octogenarian now you can find her in media also like when she was younger. I got her from her HS yearbook picture, so I went a little lighter on the clues.

Good luck.

#1,732 Martha Stewart

Above, showing up at Barnard College in NYC, in 1959, in shorts! Obviously nothing today, but a big deal 60 years ago at that institution. Martha Stewart got people to notice her way back in the day.

What does she and Snoop Dogg (real name Calvin Broadus) have in common when their backgrounds may outwardly suggest "not that much"?. I think they both like having and know how to make "money".

A cooking show together and what appears to be they are really friends. Part of the "spin" to make people watch, or really true? Dunno. Probably some of both. They're entertainers by trade and know how to get people to watch.

And just when we thought Martha's "cheesecake" days are behind her, she becomes a swimsuit model for Sports Illustrated .. at age 81 the oldest ever. .,

Our "girl" ain't shy, that's for sure, and breaking "norms" and being "daring" may be part of the Stewart brand.

Made her a billionaire.

The photoshop dept must have been working OT to meet the publishing deadline.... yet still, "ew".

Regardless, I'll bet that Snoop "hit dat"....

Let's see if we can have a girl who can keep her clothes on :poke:. Naaw, maybe next time. :)

Age 57. Model and Actor. Born in NYC, Ivy-league educated. Several public trials and tribulations amidst great, early career success.

I remember her first controversy very well. She did a movie, at age 12. No need to go into what it was exactly, but it got people talking. Little girls don't do this kinda movie work was the howl. The "mob" took it out on her manager mother.

She was already a child model by the time she did this movie, and then the modeling part of her career really took off. Before she was 17, she was one of the HIGHEST paid models in the world, allegedly making $10K per day in 1980 money (@35K/day in today's money - that's good lettuce).

First on this cover, youngest in that show, etc.. Still, more controversy tho, this time with clothing on - sort of - hawking one of biggest fashion crazes of the 20th Century -- age 15 in 1980. Even I was caught up in that global fashion craze as a young man.

One of her "odd-couple" BFF's growing up (they like dated and stuff in the 80's) was a talented guy, but not without his mega-controversies later in life (when he died in 2009, she gave one of the eulogies for him).

Fast forward a bit, having made a lifetime of cash already, she dropped that actor/model/dating superstar stuff and went to college.

Then, by late 80's she was back acting, doing voice work, some TV, some big screen, and even live stage work. Never really BIG "A-list" movie star, she did win some awards/got critical recognition. Working steadily for 40 years.

Married, twice (one short time to a tennis star, no kids) started a family and life seems settled.

Some clues are only here to help folks I/D her -- not trying to diss her. But that stuff really happened and unfortunately for her made national news. Maybe approaching her senior citizen years, her life will continue to be more mellow.

I think she'll be easy to figure out. I DO recognize her from this photo, said to be age 5. The clues are vague, but of course represent true events.

I didn't know she was blondish as a child.
may not have been .. could have been done cuz that's what the client wanted? word was they (her handlers back then) would do whatever it took to get the part .. hence the controversies as a youngster.
