Never met her, don't know her, but did see her walk by at a licensing conference I was at a decade ago, thinking she'd be some little tiny thing. She wasn't. she was like six feet tall (my female colleague said it was NOT just the shoes. She is just kinda tall.

Age 56 (soon to be 57). Entertainer. Born near Montreal. Canadian, aye!

Started performing at a young age, got really big as an adult performer. Over 200 million recordings sold worldwide, mainly in English and French. Slight, thin frame, BIG voice.

Needless to say, she is quite wealthy, and very generous with the causes she supports.

Had/having health struggles as of recent years that has mostly stopped her from performing. Seems to be getting better.

Below, age 14 in Paris in 1982 where she had a gold record. Imagine that at that age. Look close. I believe she's recognizable by face, even as she knock's on the door of 60 years old.

If not that, she's a generational vocal talent. You can find her via nationality and her flat out commercial success. Her mega-hit song made the movie .. not Leo and Kate.

i didn't know them by looks, so im trying to come up with decent clues.

maybe some/any FCBO whippersnappers chime in, couple weeks away probably. first burn through some of the senior citizens like Kathy Ireland

See what I mean, she's younger than me too. So both of you are also younger than me.

It didn't used to be so bad being the oldest (when I was younger), but at some point in time (without me knowing when it occurred) that status suddenly has become not so desirable any more.

Why don't you post up some really old chics for awhile (still living of course), maybe it'll make me feel better??
