Sure it's the switch? Did you test for continuity? I think the procedure is listed in the FSM.

Would a 4 bank switch from a '66 have the same internals D? I have one of those apparently....

While you're at it, I highly recommend getting the new Dorman motors from Summit.

As both Critter and I found out...you can clean an old motor only so far as an old motor is an old motor. Got my passeger side all apart cleaned and put back together works ok but doesn't have the juice it needs to push the window up all the way

I dumped sand out of the motor he "rebuilt" for the last owner of my car.

Welp looks like Bills on a roll tonight...Paul gave Bill a holler tonight to see if by chance he had a spare 4 way switch and apparently he dose and we can have...may be a NOS one to...woot....Thanx Bill tis greatly appreciated...will settle up with ya at High River car show :O)

talking to Paul...says my windows are smooth and fast...cut yer head off fast...anyhow...been thinkin...do that on occasion...your motor
A.not much to wear out from what ive seen short of brushs mayby cant remember if there were bearings for the bottom of motor...thoughts?
...your brushs although 50% worn were well in the parameter to be functional...honestly when basics come into play believe motor may be fine...think problem may lie in lack of power to operate window power...possibly bad lead or ground...may be worth checking to see what kinda juice yer gittin...
only other thing is binding track but believe they should be fine after we cleaned them up...anyway food for thought.,.,.was buggin me
