Hey guys what’s up I just moved near reading pa and need helping finding a good mechanic I have a 68 Newport with a worked 440 and it’s starting to lose compression on 3 cylinders. So I need a price on a rebuild.

Go down the street or around the corner whatever it is to Ray Barton Racing Engines right there in Robesonia.
Ray and Dave did my 440 and my dads Hemi. Very pleased with both engines.
They are not low priced by any means but very very good work and well respected.

I just talked to him and he said he doesn’t work on street cars.

Well no, they are not mechanics. They are one of the top Mopar engine gurus in the country.
You need to pull the engine or have a mechanic do it and bring it to them. They will build anything you want from mild street to full blown race engines.

I’m trying to avoid having to rebuild it. Only has 7k on it
