Bavaria has got to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. I spent six months in Munich and enjoyed every single minute of it. The funny thing is, I haven't been to Neuschwanstein. I went on a tour of the BMW factory though, so I guess that makes it ok .

Lake Chiemsee (east of Munich) is my favorite lake in Bavaria. Has King Ludwig's Herrencheimsee castle (Gold Palace) on the island.
